So I have joined the ranks once again of those people that are dating. I have met a wonderful women on the Single Sailor, so first let me say thank you to the community on the Single Sailor.

The point of this post is this. Is it not funny how the little things in life can seem so grand. Things like a short msg first thing in the morning from someone. A text just before bed to let you know they are thinking of you or a funny picture of note sometime through out the day to make you smile. All these things make being away from someone both manageable and HARD all at the same time.

I can't remember the last time I felt so close to someone. Dating has been bitter sweet for me, as I am sure it has been for many. Dating singles that are sometimes great but don't want to commit or crazy and you realize there is a reason they are single.

Only time will tell where this new journey will take me, but this is one case where I truly believe, it is the journey and not the destination that makes it so great.
